Personal Data Protection

The following terms shall form part of Orchid Country Club’s (“OCC”) Personal Data Protection Policy:

Collection, use and disclosure of personal data

(1) To process, administer and/or manage your relationship with OCC, and to provide you with the services and products of OCC, OCC will necessarily need to collect, use, disclose and/or process your personal data or personal information about you, including your transactions.
(2) By submitting information to OCC, or signing up for any services and products offered by OCC, you hereby agree and consent that OCC may collect, use, disclose and process your personal information for one or more of the following purposes:
(a) processing your enquiries and application for services and products by OCC;
(b) providing you with the services and products of OCC;
(c) administering and/or managing your relationship with OCC;
(d) carrying out your instructions or responding to any enquiries by you;
(e) carrying out due diligence or other screening activities (including background checks) in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations or risk management procedures (including but not limited to those designed to combat financial crime, “know-your customer”, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing or anti-bribery), that may be required by law or that may have been put in place by OCC;
(f) dealing in any matters relating to the services and/or products which you are entitled to under this Agreement (including the printing of membership cards and the printing and mailing of correspondence, statements, invoices, confirmations, advices, information, reports or notices to you, which could involve disclosure of certain personal data about you to bring about delivery of the same as well as on the external cover of envelopes/mail packages);
(g) the recovery of any and all amounts owed to OCC;
(h) the process of reviewing and approving your application(s) for OCC’s services and products, and the conduct of initial and anticipatory credit checks and assessments, relevant checks, ongoing assessment and verification of ongoing credit worthiness and standing;
(i) preventing, detecting and investigating fraud, misconduct, any unlawful action or omission, whether relating to your application or any other matter relating to your application for OCC’s services and products, and whether or not there is any suspicion of the aforementioned;
(j) managing OCC’S infrastructure and business operations, and complying with policies and procedures that may be required by law or that may have been put in place by OCC, including those relating to auditing, finance and accounting, billing and collections, IT systems, data and website hosting, training, testing, business continuity, and records, document and print management;
(k) if consented by you via your registration or participation in any contest, lucky draw, campaign, promotion, event, survey or questionnaire, to administer and provide you with such activities. Some of these activities have additional terms and conditions, which could contain additional information about how we use and disclose your personal data, so we suggest that you read these carefully;
(l) complying with applicable law in administering and managing your relationship with OCC; and/or
(m) unless you have indicated your preference to opt out, provide for the dispatch of marketing information relating to services or products offered by OCC and OCC’S affiliates, business partners and related companies which OCC thinks is of benefit or interest to you via postal mail, electronic transmission to your email address(es), and/or voice call or phone call, SMS/MMS (text messages), and/or fax to your telephone number(s).
(collectively, the “Purposes”)
(3) In carrying out one or more of the above Purposes, OCC may need to disclose your personal data to certain third parties, whether located within or outside Singapore, such as :
(a) OCC’s third party service providers or agents including but not limited to those who provides administrative, telecommunications, computer, payment or securities clearing or other services to OCC in connection with the operation of its business, mailing houses, telecommunication companies, marketing agents, call centres, data processing companies and information technology companies;
(b) any credit reference agency, rating agency, business partner, insurer or insurance broker, direct or indirect provider of credit protection, bank or financial institution, and, in the event of default, to debt collection agencies;
(c) to OCC’S auditors and professional advisors including its solicitors;
(d) any person to whom OCC is under an obligation to make disclosure under the requirements of any law binding on OCC or any of OCC’S branches or under and for the purposes of any guidelines issued by regulatory or other authorities with which OCC or any of OCC’S branches are expected to comply with;
(e) any person to whom disclosure is permitted or required by any statutory provision or law;
(f) any permitted assigns;
(g) to any local or foreign regulatory body, government agency, statutory board, ministry, departments or other government bodies and/or its officials; and/or
(4) If you do not wish for OCC to use your personal data or disclose your personal data for any of the above Purposes, you may withdraw your consent at any time by written notice to OCC, pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, however, depending on the circumstances and the nature/extent of your withdrawal, your withdrawal of consent may result in OCC’S inability to provide you with the services and products and hence may result in the termination of your relationship with OCC or other consequences of a legal nature which may arise by virtue of your legal relationship with OCC.
(5) For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that Singapore personal data protection law permits an organization such as OCC to collect, use or disclose your personal data without your consent, such permission granted by the law shall continue to apply.
(6) You agree that where your written permission is required by law or otherwise for any such disclosure by OCC, the signing of the application form as well as in any other manner permitted by law shall constitute and be deemed to be sufficient written permission for such disclosure.
(7) OCC’S rights under this clause shall be in addition to and without prejudice to OCC’S other rights of disclosures available pursuant to the Banking Act, Chapter 19 of Singapore (as may be amended or revised from time to time) or any other statutory provision and in law and nothing herein is to be construed as limiting any of these other rights.
(8) Please be informed that you have the right to opt out of receiving marketing information relating to services or products offered by OCC. Kindly note that if you do not exercise your right to opt out of receiving such marketing information, you will be deemed to have consented to the receiving of such marketing information by OCC and OCC will continue to provide such marketing information to you.
(9) All capitalised words and expressions used that are not defined in this notification shall have the same meaning given to any such words and expressions in the general terms and conditions applicable to the relevant relationship.
(10) Note that the amendments set out in this notification shall be effective on and from the date written above and apart from such changes, all other terms of the [general terms and conditions] remain the same. In the event of any inconsistencies between the terms of this notification and the [general terms and conditions], the terms of this notification shall prevail.

Accounts Officer


  • Ensure Club’s collections from various departments and outlets are correct, prompt and reconciled for all payment modes.
  • Prepare invoices, credit notes for timely billings and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
  • Accounting for deposits collection, bank-in, recording, refund and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding arrears and liaise with clients to chase for collections of arrears.
  • Prepare ageing analysis and provide for bad debts
  • Performs reconciliations and verifications on revenue, receipts and money collections including liaising with various department colleagues.
  • Perform bank reconciliation for AR receipts and refunds
  • Performs month-end closing duties and ensure accuracy and meet timelines.
  • Ensure Point of Sales system is properly interfaced to Accounts Receivable system module and data is correct and tied to receipts.
  • Performs Accounts Receivable duties or any other Finance duties as assigned.

Hotel Sales Executive


  • Assist the Head of Hotel in driving the revenue and occupancy of hotel rooms by developing and execution of its sales and marketing plan.
  • Develop new lead sources and maintain accounts in establishing strong rapport with key industry partners i.e. corporate, group transient and event business partners.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and perform strategic positioning
  • Responsible for hotel ARR and RevPar by optimizing Rate and Pricing Strategy and develop room packages for different market segments.
  • Proactive and alert to adapt rates to fill rooms during lull periods.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head of Hotel.


  • Minimum a Diploma preferably in Hotel management.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in room sales, those from 4-stars and above or boutique hotel will have an advantage.
  • Must have good knowledge of hotel industry in local market and its market trends.
  • Highly responsible and reliable with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have strong passion and drive for sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Senior Sales Manager, MICE & Convention Services

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you will be proactive in generating sales for banquet, conference, guestrooms and other club-wide related businesses, achieving sales target for the team.  Your roles also include the following:


  • Make regular sales calls and handle all business enquiries including facilities/site tour.
  • Conduct regular competitor’s surveys on events held at competitor clubs.
  • Entertain and maintain rapport with potential and regular clients and follow up on any business leads.
  • Assist in creating and executing annual business and marketing plans as well supporting all promotional events/activities.
  • Correspond with clients on introductory, proposal, confirmation/agreement, changes/amendment, appreciation letters etc.
  • Plan and organize clients’ events, coordinating with the relevant supporting departments to ensure clients’ requirements are met.


  • G.C.E. `O’/`A’ Level/ Diploma/ Tertiary Education.
  • With 3 years of work experience in related field, those holding similar position in other hotels/clubs would be an advantage.

Technical Executive

Reporting directly to the Assistant Facilities Manager, the Technical Executive will ensure smooth P&M operations by working closely with a team technicians. He/she must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, manage expectations and deliver results that are of professional standards.  The successful incumbent must be willing to roll-up the sleeves in executing daily operations and is expected to have a strong engineering background with audio-visual experience (advantage).


  • Attending to daily breakdown of services and engineering operational matters.
  • Ensure Club’s building services, facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Supervise works carried out by technicians and contractors.
  • Manage all service/preventative maintenance, cyclical, capital expenditure and A&A works etc.
  • Prepare Department’s monthly reports including cash flows, inventory, assets listing etc.
  • To develop SOP and OJT and conduct training to technicians.
  • Assist in all Tenancy matters.
  • Determine scope of work and sourcing for comparative quotes.
  • Oversees and provide AV support to all Club and Banquet functions.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Head of Property & Maintenance or the reporting officer.


  • Diploma in Engineering related discipline preferably in Electrical.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field, those without necessary qualifications but has more than 3 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead yet willing to roll up the sleeves and execute tasks with the team.
  • Possess good communication skills and able to provide concise advice to stakeholders
  • Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think fast and act fast.

Guest Relations Officer, Jackpot (Aranda Country Club)


  • Check and ensure that the jackpot facilities including the working condition of the jackpot machines and the general cleanliness of the jackpot room.
  • Ensure adequate cash and coin float for exchanges with members are in proper order at all times for the enjoyment of members and their guests.
  • Responsible for the safekeeping, accounting and disbursements of daily float and proper handing-over of float from and to the Duty Officers.
  • Attend to the jackpot machines and be responsible for paying out winnings and issuing short payment vouchers. The standing instructions/procedures on the documentation of payments, verification and authority for payments should be strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure that all Club rules and regulations are observed by guests.
  • Ensure compliance with MHA regulatory requirement at all times.
  • To be conversant and proficient in carrying out all duties and responsibilities as provided for in the Jackpot SOPs.
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to jackpot players.
  • Any other duties, and/or assignments as delegated by Duty Manager or the Club Management.


  • Min Secondary qualifications and above.
  • PC literate and able to handle minor machine repair work.
  • Matured and tactful in dealing with members/guests.
