Starting from 30 May 2021 (Sunday), the Club will be implementing a walker fee of $8 for golfers who walk on Vanda Course.
In order to meet rising operational cost, in particular the increase in maintenance cost for the newly renovated Vanda Course, the Club has decided to implement walker fees only for Vanda. This increase is part of our overall review of Club fees to ensure financial sustainability which was adversely impacted by the on-going COVID-19.
Charging of walker’s fee is not new and currently, being practiced at other Golf Clubs such as Seletar Country Club, Warren Golf and Country and Laguna National Golf & Country Club etc.
For walkers who choose to walk on Aranda Course, there will continue to be no charge for now.
The Club seeks Members’ kind understanding on the implementation of walker fees.
Following the announcement by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on 7 July 2021, please note the following new measures at the Club:
• Masks may be removed when performing strenuous activities.
• Masks MUST be worn once you have ceased your strenuous activity.
Please stay safe.
An upgrading project for a new Driving Range tee-up system with improved performance and convenience is currently underway, and we will gradually phase out all existing SMART Range Cards over a 12-month transition period from 4 January to 31 December 2021. Find out more about the new system and the answers to some frequently asked questions HERE.
Since we started opening the booking link daily at 9am, we have received feedback from several members about not being able to get a tee time because it is impossible to fill out the booking form in under 3 seconds to get a flight.
We have reviewed this feedback and found that some members have been able to pre-fill the booking form by keeping the link open and then submitting it at the stroke of 9am. This has caused much distress to members and it deprives them of the opportunity to get a tee time. The Management will be issuing new links daily to eliminate this problem. We seek your understanding that we are seeing an overwhelming demand for limited tee times and we will continuously refine the booking rules and conditions so that every member will have an equal chance of getting a tee time.
In order to sustain our golf courses and ensure that they are maintained in good play condition till the end of our land lease on 31 December 2030, the Club will be carrying out golf course upgrading starting from 1 December 2020. Click HERE for the measures the Club will be putting in place to alleviate the issue of limited golf slots during the upgrading period.
