Kunming Golf Trip 2025

From 20 to 26 October 2025, OCC members enjoyed a memorable golf trip to Kunming, China, renowned for its pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, and outstanding golf courses. The week offered the perfect blend of sport, culture, and camaraderie.

Golfers played four rounds across some of Kunming’s finest courses. At Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, they experienced both the Mountain View and Lake View courses, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones Jr. respectively. Each presented distinct challenges and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and Yangzonghai Lake. The group also played at Lakeview Golf Club, known for its serene mountain backdrop, and wrapped up at Kunming Hot Spring Golf Club, where lush fairways and natural hot springs created a fitting finale to the golfing itinerary.

Beyond the fairways, participants explored two of Yunnan’s most famous attractions. The Stone Forest (石林风景区), a UNESCO World Heritage site, impressed everyone with its dramatic limestone formations, while Jiu Xiang (九乡风景区) offered a fascinating journey through caves and underground rivers.

The Kunming trip was a wonderful combination of great golf, scenic discovery, and shared friendship. With excellent organization and warm hospitality throughout, it was truly a highlight of the OCC golfing calendar.
